What does the condition label mean?
Every item at Forty Moons is labeled New, Like New, Gently Used, or Refurbished. New means it has never been used. Like New means it may have been opened or handled but shows no wear. Gently Used means light signs of wear with honest notes included. Refurbished means it has been repaired or restored and is tested and working.
How do you price your items?
We research the original retail price of every item. New and Like New items are typically priced at 60 to 75% of retail. Gently Used items are priced at 40 to 55%. Refurbished items are priced based on function and condition. The original price is always listed so you can see the value.
Do you accept returns?
Yes. If something is not as described, we will make it right. You may return items within 14 days of delivery. Items must be in the same condition you received them. Reach out to us and we will walk you through it.
Do you ship?
Yes, we ship within the United States. Orders over $100 qualify for free shipping. All items are packed carefully to arrive in the condition described.
Where are you located?
We are based in Camden, Maine. Right now we are online only. A physical location is in the works. Follow us on Instagram at @fortymoons_ to be the first to know when we open our doors.
Can I sell my items through Forty Moons?
Not at this time. We source all items ourselves to make sure they meet our quality and condition standards. If that changes, we will announce it on our social channels.
Are the items sanitized?
Yes. Every clothing item is laundered or dry cleaned. Home goods are wiped down and inspected. Beauty products are only sold if sealed or properly sanitized. We take this seriously.
